Faculty Position Announcement

Management: Strategy and International Business

 

The Department of Management in the College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University anticipates an opening for  a tenure-track Strategy faculty member at the  Assistant or Associate level, starting August 2015 (perhaps as soon as January 2015).

 

We seek either an assistant professor with a productive research record and at least three years of experience already in a tenure-track position, or an associate professor with an internationally recognized record of excellence in research. Only candidates who have already earned a Ph.D. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in strategy will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in international business. Teaching duties could include both graduate and undergraduate courses in strategy and international business.

 

Applications received by September 15, 2014 will be given fullest consideration.  However, applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled. 

 

Representatives of the Department of Management (David Dawley, Mark Gavin, Usha Haley, Jennifer Sexton) will be attending the 2014 Academy of Management Conference in Philadelphia, PA in August 2014 to interview potential candidates.  Please feel free to speak to any of them directly on this faculty opening.
