The School of Business at the State University of New York at New Paltz invites applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor position in the area of International Business/Cross-Cultural Management. Fall 2015 is the anticipated start date.
The primary responsibility is
teaching, but faculty members are expected to establish a strong program of
research and scholarship, to advise students, and to contribute to the life and
work of the School of Business and the College.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. in international business or a related field from
an AACSB accredited institution is preferred; exceptional ABD candidates with a
firm completion date will be considered. Although the ideal candidate would
focus on cross-cultural management, and we thus strongly encourage candidates
in the area of International Human Resource Management/Organizational Behavior
to apply, we will also consider applicants who possess teaching and research
skills in the broader field of international management. Candidates must be
qualified to teach courses in international business and international
management, as well as general management courses at both the undergraduate and
MBA levels.
