Africa Rising: The Internationalization of African Firms and the Prospects for Western and Eastern Multinationals

We are delighted to announce our inaugural conference with the theme: “Africa Rising: The Internationalization of African Firms and the Prospects for Western and Eastern Multinationals”.

 

We have an interesting and engaging programme:

* Four world-class keynote speakers:

   Prof. Patricia McDougall  I AIB Vice-President I Indiana University, USA
   Prof. Kevin Ibeh I Assistant Dean, Birkbeck I University of London, UK
   Prof. Ken N. Kamoche I Director, Africa Research Group I University of Nottingham, UK

* A day-long Journal of International Business Studies Paper Development Workshop led by
   Professors Rose and McDougall

* A mini-workshop on Teaching International Business

* Experiential learning trips to IBM Africa Research Lab and Safaricom

* And of course interesting research papers and teaching cases submitted by scholars from around the world covering a variety of IB issues:
