Subject: PLEASE SEND THIS TO MOFFA LIST!!! July 1-Twilight meeting and tour of MSU's organic fruit production under 3season tunnels

Hey Friends,
I wanted to remind all of you of the field day tomorrow Tuesday, July 1 from 7 pm to 9 pm. This will be a great chance to see the Hightunnel systems with organic Cherry and Raspberry production. The Brambles and trees are 5-6 years old, under various production systems looking at plant health, productivity, spacing  and various varieties. Come and see for yourself of the possibilities!!
NOTE: The 2014  Farm Bill is supporting high tunnel cost shares this go around so this may be a system that fits into your farming.

Our researchers will be speaking and answering questions around production, varieties, trellising, pruning, soil health, and tunnel management. Beyond this wonderful opportunity there will be those to answer questions about the cost share program and MAEAP too. Come and join for an educational and fun evening with TASTY MSU ice-cream to cool your pallets.  The weather looks ok but I am working to get a tent too, just in case.

Hope to see you at MSU- The program is located at 3291 College Rd, East Lansing, MI at the MSU Horticulture Teaching and Research Center.
