A publication opportunity if you can have your (high-quality paper) ready in two weeks: ------------------------------------------- We are in the process of finalizing the initial selection of chapters for the Palgrave Handbook of Experiential Learning in International Business (ISBN: 9781137467706). See below for more details on the book. We already have a great collection of chapters but, based on the word count, still have room for one (possibly two) more. We are particularly interested in chapters that - Describe specific experiential learning projects or hands-on activities or exercises for International Business, or - Provide reviews of theories and concepts or offer new theories of experiential learning in IB. Since the initial draft of the book is almost ready, the additional chapter would need to be developed and finalized in a matter of weeks. If you would like to submit your chapter, please do the following: - Send your chapter proposal to [log in to unmask] as soon as possible. You will receive a decision on suitability of your chapter within 24 hours and will have about two weeks to submit your complete chapter draft, or - Send in a complete chapter draft by June 10 Please contact the book Editors for additional information. · Dr. Vasyl Taras, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, United States ([log in to unmask]) · Dr. Maria Alejandra Gonzalez-Perez, Universidad EAFIT, Colombia ( [log in to unmask]) =================== Book title: “*The Palgrave Handbook of* *Experiential Learning in International Business*” The book aims to be a one-stop source for business educators and trainers who seek to either select and use an existing experiential learning project, or develop new projects and exercises of this kind in their courses. The proposed book will be divided in two parts. The first part will be dedicated chapters dealing with theoretical and conceptual approaches of enhancing teaching and learning of International Business, and it also will contain foundational aspects of pedagogy and experiential learning. The second part of the book will contain specific applications of experiential learning in IB. The idea is that each chapter of the book will be dedicated to one experiential learning project (e.g., X-Culture, Global Enterprise Experience, Export Odyssey, any other experiential projects used in teaching). Each chapter’s author will describe in detail the hands-on project(s) he/she uses to improve learning in his/her IB-related courses or training programs, project background and history, challenges, best practices, and suggestions for future IB educators who may want to incorporate experiential learning in their courses. A chapter can describe a big project that covers entire semester, a small one that spans only a few days, or very concrete exercises or series of exercises that take only a few minutes to a few hours to run. The project can also be part of a formal course or training program, or be unrelated to formal courses and offered as an extra-curricular option for the students (competitions, internships, etc.), as long as the activity is experiential and contributes to learning IB-related concepts. *Recommended topics include, but are not limited to, the following: * · Enhancing teaching experiences inside and outside the classroom · *Specific cases of experiential learning projects (X-culture, Global Enterprise Experience, Export Odyssey, etc.).* · *Detailed description and analysis of hands-on-projects for learning International Business* · Experiential learning in International Business · Foundational aspects of International Business pedagogy · Educating global managers and universal citizens · Experiential learning versus traditional classroom · Limitations for experiential learning in IB · Learning styles and experiential learning Accepted chapters will be compiled in a book, which will be published by *Palgrave Macmillan.* *Book Editors and contact details:* · Dr. Vasyl Taras, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, United States ([log in to unmask]) · Dr. Maria Alejandra Gonzalez-Perez, Universidad EAFIT, Colombia ( [log in to unmask]) ____ AIB-L is brought to you by the Academy of International Business.
