Faculty Position in Organizational Behavior

Scheller College of Business

Georgia Institute of Technology

 

The Organizational Behavior Area in the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking candidates for one tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning fall semester 2015. The minimum qualifications for this  vacancy requires that candidates possess a PhD in Organizational Behavior or an associated discipline, a clear record of excellent scholarly research and demonstrated expertise in the field, as well as teaching undergraduates/graduate students within the Organizational Behavior or Human Resource Management areas. Salary and a teaching load of three courses at three semester hours per year are competitive with leading research universities, with opportunities for involvement in executive programs.


Our undergraduate program has approximately 1,300 students.  Our MBA programs enroll about 225 students each year, while the Executive Masters programs enroll about 100 students each year.  The College’s Ph.D. program enrolls between 10 and 15 students each year and has approximately 50 students in residence.


The full-time MBA program is ranked 27th by U.S. News & World Report; 1st in Georgia and 10th among national public universities. The College is the home of the Cecil B. Day Program for Business Ethics, the Technology Innovation: Generating Economic Results (TI:GER), a U.S. Department of Education funded Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), and the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship. The College hosts an annual Roundtable on Engineering Entrepreneurship Research, and an Impact Speakers Series featuring CEOs of technology companies. The College provides an intellectually stimulating research environment. Faculty members are active in research and publish in leading journals, books, monographs, and conference proceedings.
