To whom it may concern:

Attached please find the program for the final Duke CIBER Ph.D. workshop program.

The focus of the workshop is Globalization of Innovation. We have been fortunate to have recruited a most distinguished faculty team with active research programs on this topic.

The Duke CIBER will cover all local costs, including housing in the R. David Thomas Center, all meals, and program materials. Students from CIBER schools will be given a $250.00 stipend to be used toward travel expenses.

The workshop is intended for advanced Ph.D. students in international business and is limited to a maximum of 30 participants. Students must be nominated by the CIBER Director and a regular faculty member. A small number of openings are being reserved for international Ph.D. students from emerging economies. Preference will be given to students who have a major or a concentration in International Business. Nomination letters must confirm that the student is an advanced Ph.D. student, has passed requirement for initiating their dissertation, and whether CIBER will need to cover travel expenses.

Please submit letters of nominations to Professor Arie Y. Lewin c/o of Katherine Harper.

Best,

The Duke University Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER)
