A grant program called Building Healthy Communities that operates at Wayne State University's Center for School Health in Detroit, MI, is currently hiring a full-time Healthy School Coordinator. The main goal of the program is to work with various Michigan elementary school kids, staff, and families to transform these schools into healthier places to eat and be active.
Here is more information about the Building Healthy Communities program: http://coe.wayne.edu/centerforschoolhealth/programs.php

And here is the link for the job posting: https://jobs.wayne.edu/applicants/jsp/shared/position/JobDetails_css.jsp?postingId=497161
Wayne State's online hiring system is a little confusing. This link will probably not take you directly to the posting, but to the general website. Once there, click the "Research Assistants/Associates" tab, then look for posting #040411. It was posted on 6/24/2014 and is listed under the Physical Education department. Even though the listing says "Research Assistant," the actual job title is School Coordinator/Healthy School Coordinator.

Just to let you know, the hiring timeline will be moving pretty fast, so if you're interested, I would suggest applying within the next couple days.

Feel free to e-mail me directly with questions.
Thanks all!

Julie
