Subject: Westwind FARM's Experiences in Sustainable Living is Here!

Happy Spring to All!!

The ATTACHED FLYER is about something we've wanted to do for a long time - to use our farm, Westwind Farm, as an educational resource and a place of inspiration for anyone interested in health and environmental issues, of any age or background. This year, Lee and I have developed a full curriculum of classes regarding the discovery of nature and creativity that can be explored on the Farm.  We feel that this is something that many of you will find appealing, as well.

We are starting out the year on WEDNESDAY,  MAY 14 from 6-9 pm with a PLANT HIKE, led by teacher George Hedgepeth of Briar Patch Outdoors.  Then we have a full schedule of classes and activity days scheduled throughout the summer.  Check them out on the attached flyer, or call us at (810) 735-9192 for more information and a brochure.

Also remember that we have our rescheduled Raising Backyard Chickens presentation coming up next Saturday, April 26, from noon until 2 pm.  Hear from Fallen Oak Farm about how they've been raising meat birds as certified naturally grown at their small farm in Davison.  There is no charge for this event.  Call to let us know if you can make it - (810) 735-9192.

Hope to see many of you at Westwind Farm, as well as at the Mill this spring and summer!!
