TI houses a nationally recognized teacher professional development program designed to promote inquiry-based teaching and learning in middle and high school science classrooms. The Institute also runs an innovative content-based Teacher Induction Program that links new science teachers with a network of content, pedagogy, and peer support resources and networks and a Teacher Leadership Program where highly experienced teachers learn to mentor novice teachers and take on leadership roles in their schools and districts.
