Politecnico di Milano has launched an International Fellowships funding program designed to attract young, bright and highly motivated post-doc researchers from all over the world. The program is part of a wider strategy of our University that aims to enhance the internationalization of competences, research activities and key actors. The Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering is willing to host one (or more) post-doc researcher(s). The research activity will be coordinated by a scientific supervisor identified by the Department and will be carried out within the field of Innovation in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering. Applications in the field of International Business are also particularly encouraged. Mastering of methodologies of quantitative/qualitative research will lay weight on the final selection. Applicants should have an excellent command of English (and knowledge of Italian is welcome but not necessary). Applicants should have the ability to work with colleagues from other disciplines and a proven track record of publications (or in-progress publications). The successful candidate is expected to conduct his/her research in the field, and publish in (leading) refereed journals. Participation in conference organization or other coordination tasks may be required periodically. The grant has a value of 35,000 € per year (before deductions). The deadline for the submission of the proposal is 14/07/2014. Accommodation will be provided at Politecnico Residences in Milano at very convenient prices. The research project will last at least 2 years, starting from the fall 2014 or from 2015.
