if you can't find one, you might want to check the lending center in
Spartan Village: http://cvip.isp.msu.edu/lending/
Another place to get second hand items is the "Give or Take center" in
Community center, you might not find raincoats there, but it's worth a
shot. Their e-mail is: [log in to unmask] so you can ask them if
they have anything like this there.
A third place you could try is the MSU surplus store, I got a helmet there
for 5USD, but they might not have any at the moment.

You could also wait a little longer as many students/visiting scholars are
leaving and you will probably find several in the next few months. But, if
you are in a hurry to get one, you can find one at Amazon.com or
Meijer/Wal-Mart for around 15-20USD.
