JGM Best Paper Award at EURAM 2014: The Awarded Authors and Papers
Congratulations to the winners who are Albert Kraeh and Fabian Froese for
the paper entitled ³Do expatriates suffer from burnout?².  Both authors are
from the University of Goettingen, Goettingen, Germany. The first runner-up
is Maike Andresen for her paper entitled ³The bright and dark side of job
embeddedness: The role of job embeddedness in predicting job performance and
OCBs of organizational and self-initiated expatriates².  Maike is from the
University of Bamberg, Bamberg, Germany. The second runner-up is Christian
Linder for the paper with the title: ³Expatriates¹ symbolic leadership
adjustment. An analysis of how culture affects expatriates¹ use of symbolic
interaction to lead when abroad². Christian is also from the University of
Bamberg, Bamberg, Germany.
The Editorial Team of JGM acted as double-blind judges on the Reward Panel.
First Prize will include a cash prize of £200 and all awarded authors will
receive award certificates, an invitation to be considered for publication
in JGM and one year complimentary online access to the journal.
The award ceremony will take place at the EURAM 2014 Conference in Valencia,
Spain, June 4-7, 2014 where the first session of the Expatriate Management
Track will be the JGM Best Paper Award Session.
