This short message aims at informing you about progress in the preparations for the 2014 World Investment Forum, scheduled to take place from 13 to 16 October 2014 in the Palais des Nations, Geneva, Switzerland.

Provisional programme released:

The 2014 World Investment Forum will consist of over thirty event. The programme features highlights such as the World Leaders' Investment Summit, ministerial roundtables, and other high-profile stakeholder events, private sector-led sessions and networking opportunities.

High-level Speakers secured:

H.E. Mr. Ban Ki-Moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations is expected to open the 2014 World Investment Forum.  A number of Presidents and Heads of Government are due to participate in the Forum, together with CEOs of many global companies and thought leaders. Check regular updates on confirmed high-level participants.

Our twenty confirmed partners include influential international organizations,  business associations , professional associations and other prominent civil society organisations, academia and media.

Registration is now open:

Participation in the 2014 World Investment Forum is free and only subject to registration. You may wish to pre-register as early as possible for the Forum as participation in the various networking event might be limited on a first come first serve basis.

New World Investment Forum website launched:

The new 2014 World Investment Forum website was launched on 3 March 2014. Please check it regularly for updates on the participation and programme. Practical information related to your stay in Geneva during the Forum is also available.
