Michigan’s Cottage Food Law allows you to make certain foods in your home kitchen and then sell them face-to-face at places such as farmers markets.

The workshop combines the business and food safety aspects of preparing and selling cottage foods safely and successfully. You will receive a certificate to display when you are selling your cottage foods to show that you have taken food safety training.
