>> The Kellogg Biological Station(KBS) again has funding available to support MSU graduate students to take courses and/or develop research at KBS. Preference will be given to students who can be in residence for part of the summer, but this is not required.
>> Funds are available from three sources (and the criteria are on the website http://www.kbs.msu.edu/education/scholarships). The deadline for applying for these funds is 15 March. The application is here: https://kbsmsu.wufoo.com/forms/2014-graduate-scholarshipfellowship-application/ You will need a brief reference letter from your advisor to apply for these funds; these can be sent via email.

>> I would particularly encourage MSU graduate students to consider enrolling in the ELME (Enhancing Linkages between Math and Ecology) courses. These are short (one week), intensive (but fun!) courses that provide an introduction to mathematical and statistical tools important for analysis of ecological data. The list of ELME courses is here: http://www.kbs.msu.edu/education/summer-courses/elme
>> The full list of KBS summer courses, including this years line up for the "Eminent Ecologist" seminar is on our website: http://www.kbs.msu.edu/education/summer-courses
