Rich has a good question.  I want to piggie back on his.
This looks like the zend.to product.  Can you tell us if this is zend.to or some other home grown product?  If this is indeed a 3rd party product, have you reviewed the code to verify it's security?  Otherwise the trouble of encrypted filesystems and being sanctioned for MSU data sharing is no longer important.
