Teaching and Research Associate (PhD Fellowship) at WU Wien - Reference Number: 2508 

 

The Institute for International Business (IIB) at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna) is currently inviting applications for two teaching and research associate positions (PhD Fellowships). The maximum tenure of the contract is 6 years.

 

The successful candidate should start latest by October 1st, 2014 and will provide support to the IIB Institute in teaching and administrative work while pursuing an active program of academic research.

 

Requirements: Candidates must possess a university degree in business administration, psychology, or economics; a high standard of English; advanced MS Office skills; advanced skills in quantitative methods; and a strong interest in the area of international business and global strategy. German language skills are a plus.

 

Members of the IIB team have published in leading journals such as Strategic Management Journal and Journal of International Business Studies. The group maintains a strong collaborative atmosphere with research-oriented programs for doctoral students. It regularly hosts academic visitors from major American, European and Asian universities. English is the working language of the IIB group and all courses are taught in English.
