City Profile:

Jaipur is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan in Northern India. It was founded on  November 18, 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler (King) of Amber, after whom the city has been named. The city today has a population of 3.1 million and is also known as the “Pink City of India”.

 

About the Conference:

The main theme of the conference is "Business and Entrepreneurship Development in a Globalized Era and the Rise of India". The conference will feature competitive papers, plenary sessions, case studies, poster presentations, student papers, and panel sessions. Submissions will be subjected to a double-blind review process and will be published in the refereed American conference proceedings (Advances in Global Business Research, ISS# 1549-9332).

 

Conference Goal:

The primary goal of the conference is to provide a unique global platform to facilitate the exchange of leading edge ideas for effective advancement of knowledge in the field of business administration and entrepreneurship. This will be achieved through multi-disciplinary presentations and discussions of current business and development issues in developing and developed countries.

 

Conference Highlights:

Major highlights of the conference would be  (1)  networking with distinguished Indian entrepreneurs, traders and merchants, (2) entrepreneurship development seminars, (3) Doing Business in India presentations by businesspersons, (4) faculty development workshops, and (5) one-to-one mentoring of selected doctoral students.

 

Our conference is being sponsored by the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Female Division (FICCI---FLO).

 

Conference would be held in a Palace, that has been converted into a 5 star hotel.  An important feature of the conference would be “Gala Dinner” with a group of former Rajasthan kings (State Royalty).

 

Manuscripts:

We welcome the submission of manuscripts that address the conference theme as well as all functional areas of business administration and entrepreneurship. Publication Opportunities:

Best papers presented at the conference would be published in the special issues of the following 7 globally respected journals: (i) Journal for Global Business Advancement, (ii) Journal for International Business and Entrepreneurship Development, (iii) Journal of Management History, (iv) Journal of Technology Management in China, (v) Journal of Family Business, (vi) Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology and (vii) Thunderbird International Business Review.

All manuscripts will be subjected to a double blind peer review process, that last about 4 to 6 weeks. Based on the recommendation(s) of the anonymous reviewers, the conference committee will decide whether the paper(s) should be accepted, revised or rejected. Accepted manuscripts will be published in the referred US conference proceedings (Advances in Global Business Research, ISS# 1549-9332). Reviewers play an important role in the peer review process. Our endeavor to administer a fair, anonymous and timely review process for all of our manuscripts and to publish only papers of the highest quality is largely dependent on the fabulous contribution of our world-class anonymous reviewers. Reviewers’ contribution  in accomplishing these important objectives is greatly appreciated and would be recognized at the conference award ceremony.
