Dr. Hemant Merchant (Professor of International Management, University of South Florida St. Petersburg, USA) as the Editor-in-Chief of the
Journal of Asia Business Studies (www.emeraldinsight.com/jabs.htm).
In its 8th year of publication, the Journal focuses on issues that are relevant to Asian business, broadly defined. These issues pertain to challenges and opportunities
facing business enterprises operating in Asia as well as Asian enterprises operating beyond their national borders. We welcome both scholarly studies and non-traditional submissions (e.g., interviews with prominent individuals) and are receptive to a variety
of theoretical and empirical approaches.
