I want to remind anyone who has a student interested in the Accounting/International Accounting area that UTEP will be accepting new PHD students starting in August 2014. Applications close on Jan 31 2013. Interested applicants should go to http://business.utep.edu/Degrees/PHD/admissions.aspx.

 

We generally provide stipends to support our PHD students and students who qualify have received additional support  from the  PHD project http://www.phdproject.org/. As an additional incentive accounting continues to enjoy high demand and the median salary package for our 2014 graduates in approximately $ 150,000 . EL Paso is bi-lingual city and a very cost effective place to spend 4 years. And also for third year in a row the safest city in America.
