The Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB) is offering seasonal internships through their Garden Project Program and Lansing Roots Program. All position descriptions and instructions on how to apply are attached to this email. Positions are seasonal and start and end dates for each are flexible. Applicants with diverse interests and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Through the GLFB, the Garden Project cultivates connections so that all community members can have access to fresh healthy foods through gardening opportunities.  The program supports a network of over 90 community gardens and 400 community gardeners.
The Lansing Roots Program is designed to support historically under-served, new, or beginning farmers as they develop successful farm enterprises through an incubator farm setting.  Lansing Roots provides program participants with land, spring field preparation, access to tools, water access, fall cover crop planting, education, sales opportunities, and barn/hoop house/wash station access.

Thanks for the help,
