This is the final call for chapter proposals (300-500 words), Due Nov 5. Book title: “*Experiential Learning in International Business*” The book “*Experiential Learning in International Business*” aims to be a one-stop source for business educators and trainers who seek to either select and use an existing experiential learning project, or develop new projects and exercises of this kind in their courses. The proposed book will be divided in two parts. The first part will be dedicated chapters dealing with theoretical and conceptual approaches of enhancing teaching and learning of International Business, and it also will contain foundational aspects of pedagogy and experiential learning. The second part of the book will contain specific applications of experiential learning in IB. The idea is that each chapter of the book will be dedicated to one experiential learning project (e.g., X-Culture, Global Enterprise Experience, Export Odyssey, any other experiential projects used in teaching). Each chapter’s author will describe in detail the hands-on project(s) he/she uses to improve learning in his/her IB-related courses or training programs, project background and history, challenges, best practices, and suggestions for future IB educators who may want to incorporate experiential learning in their courses. A chapter can describe a big project that covers entire semester, a small one that spans only a few days, or very concrete exercises or series of exercises that take only a few minutes to a few hours to run. The project can also be part of a formal course or training program, or be unrelated to formal courses and offered as an extra-curricular option for the students (competitions, internships, etc.), as long as the activity is experiential and contributes to learning IB-related concepts. *Recommended topics include, but are not limited to, the following: * · Enhancing teaching experiences inside and outside the classroom · *Specific cases of experiential learning projects (X-culture, Global Enterprise Experience, **Export Odyssey, etc.).* · *Detailed description and analysis of hands-on-projects for learning International Business* · Experiential learning in International Business · Foundational aspects of International Business pedagogy · Educating global managers and universal citizens · Experiential learning versus traditional classroom · Limitations for experiential learning in IB · Learning styles and experiential learning * * * * *Guidelines:* · Book chapter’s proposals (300-500 words, due Nov 5) should be submitted before the deadline to [log in to unmask] Please include: o Author(s) information (name, affiliation, contact details) o Provisional book chapter title o *Either:* § For conceptual/theory/review chapters (part 1 of the book): Summary of chapter including main idea, preliminary conclusions, other main points § For project description chapters (part 2 of the book): Project description (background, history, main idea, participants, covered subjects, etc.).
