Description:  Seeking a full time, tenure track candidate with academic credentials and related industry experience or related research/scholarship production desired.  The candidate must be academically qualified to teach in two business specialization areas, in support of our new Bachelor of Science in Global Business (BSGB) degree program.
Responsibilities: Teaching undergraduate courses in two specializations, focusing on:
A) Primary Specialization: Globally-focused Marketing, Management, or Economics;
AND
B) Secondary Specialization: Marketing, Management, Economics, Ethics, Airline/Aerospace Management/Ops, Business Information Systems, and/or Business Quantitative Methods.
The faculty member will teach 3-4 courses per semester, advise/mentor students, generate research/scholarship, and participate in a variety of service activities including industry outreach and student recruitment.
Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in one of the primary specialization areas noted in “A” above is required at the time of hire.  For the secondary specialization requirement, the candidate must have either: 18+ graduate credit hours AND/OR five years of recent professional experience (in the additional speculation areas listed in “B” above). Preferred candidates will have prior teaching experience, and an interest/scholarship focused on the Middle East, Latin America or Asia-Pacific regions.  A commitment to excellence in the delivery of undergraduate education is required.
Starting Date: August 2014
Salary:  Dependent upon qualifications.

This position will be within the Department of Business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ (approximately 90 min. north of Phoenix), an 1850-student mostly undergraduate campus with an established Aviation Business Administration (ABA) degree program, in candidacy for ACBSP accreditation, and holding accreditations from AABI and SACs.
