International Conference of Supply Chain Finance
May 17-18, 2014
At Southeast University, Nanjing, China

Preparatory Committee for International Supply Chain Finance Research Center (co-sponsored by School of Economics and Management of Southeast University and Global Business Investments and Publications LLC) will hold an international conference on supply chain finance.

Conference Overview

Traditionally the attention of financial managers of companies was focused on making profits for the stockholders of the firm and maximizing the value of the company.  A new trend in today’s business world is that the traditional vertical single-firm mass production model has been gradually replaced by supply chain production model. To ensure the success of supply chain production, the relationship between buyers and suppliers must be changed from zero sum to mutual benefit. Many financial managers of companies have come to realize the importance of improving the financial efficiency of the supply chain as whole. Therefore topics of supply chain finance have attracted a lot of attentions from both researchers and practitioners. This conference intends to provide a platform for those who are interested in this topic to share their ideas.
