A public selection process has been launched to award one grant for a full time research fellowship for a period of two years at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano. The research activity will be coordinated by a scientific supervisor identified by the Department and will be carried out within the field of Innovation in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering. Applications in the field of International Business are also particularly encouraged.

The selection is open to scholars who have recently received a Ph.D., preferably in the fields of Applied Economics, Management and Industrial Engineering or related areas. Mastering of methodologies of quantitative/qualitative research will lay weight on the final selection. Applicants should have an excellent command of English (and knowledge of Italian is welcome but not necessary).

Applicants should have the ability to work with colleagues from other disciplines and a proven track record of publications (or in-progress publications).The successful candidate is expected to conduct his/her research in the field, and publish in (leading) refereed journals. Participation in conference organization or other coordination tasks may be required periodically.

The grant has a value of 35,000 € per year (before deductions). Accommodation will be provided at Politecnico Residences in Milano at very convenient prices. The research project will last at least 2 years, starting from 2014.
