Sun
Yat-Sen Business School (SYSBS), one of the top business schools in China,
invites applications for two
appointments, Distinguished
Professor in Management
and
an
open rank tenure-track position (Assistant/Associate/Full) in Organization
Behavior & Human Resources beginning Fall 2014. Visiting positions in
teaching OBHR are also available.
THE
UNIVERSITY: With

SCHOOL:

SYSBS became the first business school to be instituted by an overseas

AACSB, and its various programs have been consistently ranked among the nation’s
best. Its EMBA was ranked #11 (2012) and Master’s in Management #44 (2013)

JOB
QUALIFICATIONS:
1)
For
Distinguished Professor Position in Management:
Qualifications include an internationally recognized record of research in
management (strategy, OBHR, IB and/or entrepreneurship), combined with
high-quality teaching and service credentials. Candidates must hold a doctorate
in management or a closely-related field, and should have a record appropriate
for the rank of full professor or senior associate professor with tenure.
Candidates with established strong record and international impact on
China-related management and/or business research are
preferred.
2) For
open
rank tenure-track position (Assistant/Associate/Full) in the field of
Organization Behavior & Human Resources:
Applicants
should hold (or expected to complete before employment) Ph.D degree in the area
together with a proven ability to conduct high-quality research. Applicants
should also demonstrate teaching credentials as indicated by teaching
assessments or letters of recommendations. Candidates applying for a senior
position (associate or full) should also have a record of successful research as
demonstrated
in publications in internationally respected journals and in international
impact.
