This book is a part of the Advances in Religious and Cultural Studies (ARCS) book series. this series brings together a collection of scholarly publications on topics pertaining to religious beliefs, culture, population studies, and sociology. Books published within this series are ideal for professionals, theorists, researchers, and students seeking the latest research on collective human behavior in terms of religion, social structure, and cultural identity and practice.

Introduction
The internalization of cultural beliefs, attitudes, and behaviours of individuals seem to have been catalyzed by the pace contemporary societies and business are being transformed. Against a canvas of ongoing globalization and technological and communication innovations, the silhouettes of socialization, particularly cultural indoctrination, are emerging. Research on socialization processes, which refer to cultural and educational learning, has a long history but has broadened in scope and nature and has become increasingly interconnected with all the aspects which comprise the social tissue of current global societies, including business and economics.

This requires material which (re-)examines the impact of indoctrination, in particular of the effects of cultural indoctrination on global business and prosperity. Indoctrination is often distinguished from education by the fact that indoctrinated persons are usually expected not to question or critically examine the doctrine they have learned; however, in light of current global socio-cultural and technological transformations the impact of variations in cultural doctrines has become much more prevalent and urgent. As cultural indoctrination touches many aspects from daily life, encompassing issues from education and religion to nationalism, tolerance and altruisim, an interdisciplinary approach is advocated. Therefore, the proposed reference book particularly aims to: (a) disclose relevant agents in processes of cultural indoctrination; (b) provide a sound examination of effects of cultural indoctrination on the cognitive strategies and/or professional methodologies; and (c) delineate its micro- and macro-level effects on global business and prosperity.

Objective
The primary objective of the proposed publication is that of Reference material for business executives, scholar-practitioners, and university professors / students who need to better understand the importance and influence of cultural indoctrination on global business and prosperity in the 21st century. The secondary objective is to provide a foundation for other similar books on the subject. The book should be published because there are VERY few materials available on the subject of cultural indoctrination as it relates to contemporary life in which nationalism is gaining ground in the globalization of today.

Target Audience
The primary intended audience is scholar-practitioners who have the need for qualified Reference material regarding the subject matter of the proposed publication as outlined above. The secondary intended audience is business executives and undergraduate/graduate business students who require the same Reference material. While having academic rigor, the book will be written in a way such that it can also be understood by non-academics and non-specialists.
