I have been the Faculty Advisor to International Business Club at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

For the past three years we have organized the annual Global Careers Day. This day long event brings together students and senior managers engaged in International business to network and participate in presentations and workshops for an entire day. Several Fortune 500 companies are represented and by all measures it has been a very beneficial experience.

The presentations and workshops have centered around the following topics:

Why Should You Consider A Global Career?
What Do Corporations Look For in Global Managers?
Ethical Challenges Confronting Global Managers: Lessons From the Field
Successful Global Managers: Lessons From the Field
Global Job Search Strategies
Innovation Strategies in the Global Context
The Challenges & Opportunities in Establishing Innovative Supply Chain Systems in the Global Context
Negotiating Across Cultures: A Simulation
Talent Management & The New Normal in the Global Context

As we plan for our next event in Spring 2014, we plan on revisiting some topics as we have new students who have not been exposed to these issues. However we are also open to new topics.

On behalf of members of International Business Club, I request you to share your ideas for topics and activities for making our nxt Global Careers Day even more effective and successful than the the previous three.

Thanks for your suggestions in advance.
