School of Business ¡V MANAGEMENT PROFESSOR

Position:   The Department of Management invites applications from qualified candidates for a full-time graduate and undergraduate teaching position beginning January 2014. The position will be in General Management with primary focus in Organizational Behavior and its related fields, and will report to the Chair of Woodbury¡¦s Undergraduate Management Department, but will also teach in the MBA Program. The position is intended to be filled at the Assistant Professor level; subject to Woodbury University Personnel Committee evaluation.

Qualifications:  The successful candidate will be Academically Qualified (AQ) under the standards of AACSB International; hold a doctoral degree in an Organizational Behavior related field.  High potential ABD candidates, within one year of degree completion, will receive serious consideration.  

Qualified applicants must: (1) have high potential to publish in peer-reviewed management journals; (2) show a record of excellence in learning-centered teaching and academic advising; (3) have the ability and willingness to be effective in service within and beyond the Woodbury University Community; (4) prove eligibility to legally work in the United States; and (5) applicant¡¦s experience in performing interdepartmental coordinative functions will be considered an advantage.  In addition, experience in performing interdepartmental coordinative functions will be considered an advantage.

School of Business:  Operating from a new state-of-the-art building, the School enrolls 500 plus students in two degree programs.  The BBA degree has a clear Management focus, but students can also major in Accounting, Marketing or Fashion Marketing.  The MBA degree is available in evening or weekend classes that accommodate the working student.  All programs and courses offer a balance of theory and practice.

 

Remuneration: Competitive and market based depending on rank within the University¡¦s ranking system.
