Dear colleagues,

 

allow me to draw your attention to a special issue on " knowledge and
process management in the finance sector" in the Managing Service Quality. 

 

The editors of this special issue, Dr. Juan Gabriel Cegarra and Dr. Gabriel
Cepeda Carrion, would be pleased to receive articles of a theoretical
nature, as well as research-based pieces, on any aspect or factor within the
finance sector whose underlying raison d’ętre is the adaptation of Knowledge
Management and Process Management (KM &PM). In particular, they would be
happy to receive articles on the following aspects: 

 

*	The scope of knowledge in the finance sector.
*	The link between knowledge management and financial services.
*	How knowledge is acquired and managed in financial institutions.
*	Linking knowledge management to knowledge work in financial
services. 
*	How is knowledge management being adapted to financial institutions?
*	How does knowledge relate to e-learning, corporate intranets and
extranets and other information technology infrastructures? 
*	How can financial institutions be prepared for user community
enabling?
*	How can financial institutions accelerate technology adoption
through knowledge management?
*	What are the drivers and enablers of technology adoption and
diffusion in financial services?
*	Types and mechanisms of knowledge acquisition and learning.
*	The impact of contextual factors on knowledge learning and knowledge
process.

 

Notes for Prospective Authors

 

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently
under consideration for publication elsewhere. All papers will go through
the blind review process established by Managing Service Quality (MSQ). All
submissions should be made online at  <http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/msq>
http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/msq. We will open the Special Issue tab
"KM&PM" on October 5, 2014, and after the submission deadline on December 5,
2014; we will send papers out for review. All papers will go through the
regular double-blind review process to ensure its relevance and quality, and
must follow the MSQ Style Guidelines (see

). Submissions arriving after the deadline or with improper formatting or
anonymization will not be considered.

·         Deadline for submissions: 5 December, 2014

·         Contributions distributed to reviewers: 30 December, 2014

·         Reviews received and distributed to authors: 1 March, 2015

·         Papers amended and received in light of reviewers' comments: 1
May, 2015
