*Faculty Position in Strategy*



The Strategy Group at the Jerusalem School of Business Administration
invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment in Strategy at
all ranks for the academic year 2014-2015. Candidates at the Assistant
Professor (Lecturer) level must have completed their Ph.D. at the start of
their appointment.



The Hebrew University of Jerusalem* *is the premier academic institution in
Israel. An exceptionally diverse university, it features seven faculties,
sixteen schools and over 100 subject-related and interdisciplinary research
centers. Nearly 40% of all scientific research in Israel is conducted at
the Hebrew University, and the university enrolls 30% of all doctoral
candidates in Israel. The Jerusalem School of Business* *Administration* *has
over 1,400 students and exceptionally high admissions criteria. The faculty
consists of 25 tenure track members who have doctoral degrees from leading
universities around the world. The school has six research centers and
research funds that provide resources for academic research. Academic
research is central to the activities of the School, and faculty focus on
the scientific creation and development of both theoretical knowledge and
practical applications. The achievements of the School's researchers have
brought the business school worldwide recognition. Faculty members in
Strategy and related management subjects publish in top journals: AMJ, SMJ,
JIBS, AMR, ASQ, Research Policy, and Organization Science among others.



Candidates should have a strong research program in areas related to
Strategy, including but not limited to competitive strategy,
entrepreneurship, and international business.  All approaches, all
perspectives, and all methods are welcome.  Faculty duties include teaching
Strategy courses at the BA, MBA, and/or doctoral levels.  Teaching at the
Hebrew University is primarily in Hebrew. However, selected courses may be
taught in English.
