Jim McCusker was elected by the advisory committee to
take over as CORE-CM director - Congratulations and good luck Jim.
With partial CORE-CM support, Richard Lunt has arranged for
the purchase of an unlimited license for Materials Studio for materials
simulations and visualization. It is available across campus. Thanks

A broad range V-VASE ellipsometer is being purchased From Woollam,
with partial CORE-CM support. It will be placed in the laboratory of Rebecca
Anthony a new hire in the Mechanical Engineering Department at MSU.
