Earth Science Education - Tenure-Track

University, Ypsilanti, Michigan. The Department of Geography and
Geology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor
position in Earth science/geology teacher education. This is a
full-time position in the Earth System Science program to begin
Fall 2014. A Ph.D. in an Earth System Science discipline is
required at the time of appointment. Responsibilities include Earth
science education course development and teaching, understanding
and implementing the State of Michigan standards for the
preparation of Earth science teachers, and program assessment. The
candidate will act as the program liaison with the university's
College of Education and teach introductory courses in the Earth
System Science program. Research in the field of Earth science
