The deadlines for the October 17-19, 2013 Conference, New Forces Shaping the Future of International Business Education, are quickly approaching.  We invite you to participate.  Hotel reservations are required by September 24, 2013; the program deadline is September 30, 2013. 

 

Meetings will be held at the University of Colorado Denver and at the Springhill Suites Marriott.

The conference will provide a valuable opportunity to learn more about international business and best teaching practices from recognized IB experts, and network with faculty from two and four year institutions who are interested in international business.  The program fee is $125; the hotel cost is $149/night at the SpringHill Suites Marriott.

·         Disruptive technologies - new platforms and methods of teaching international business

·         New topics in international business education

·         Innovative pedagogy in international business education

·         Transformational global changes impacting international business

Breakout sessions are being developed based on participant survey responses; currently they include study abroad, developing an international business program, initiatives at Tribal Colleges and Universities, international business resources, and international business research. 

 

This conference is hosted by the University of Colorado Denver CIBER.  It is co-sponsored by CIBERs at Brigham Young University, Michigan State University, San Diego State University, University of California Los Angeles, University of Hawaii Manoa, University of Southern California, University of Texas Austin, University of Washington, and University of Wisconsin Madison.
