I'll admit I never got around to that. Although Leo has responded to the email I sent to the nag list. I have to admit, there's a part of me that suspects the issue is more likely something funny with the two machines that I've had this problem on than a general problem, so didn't think to bother them. FWIW, testing it in a vm with 10.6, it worked fine, so definitely not an issue with the older os. Java seems kinda difficult to reinstall on the older mac versions. You can't download it from java.com, and apple doesn't seem to make it easily available. Although I did see on mine that there was an update for java that needed installed, but that didn't fix the problem either. (FWIW, mine is the one that gives the error, and basically what happens is it gets past the prompt where it asks you if you want to install, then I get a failed to launch network connect error.) Pretty sure the 10.5 machine was intel, although I have to admit I never really thought to look. But I'd be surprised if it wasn't. This problem started with the last vpn upgrade. I've had newer Macs that have installed with no problems, I haven't had a chance to try any older macs to see if they're also having issues or not.
