Dear Colleagues,

If you came to the AIB Turkey 2013 Annual Conference, you must have realized the tremendous opportunity and some unique challenges of operating in a region like the MENA. Less than 2% of the total research published in Business, Management and Accounting journals are from MENA (this is excluding the countries of Turkey and Israel). AIBMENA, the chapter focusing on the Middle East North Africa Region recently published a special issue in the International Journal of Emerging Markets of some of its best conference papers:  Do have a look if this region interests you and you would like to get involved in research. There are plenty of opportunities for collaboration and mentorship as this region gains importance in the international business community. Watch this space for our call for our next conference!

Regards,

Melodena
