We invite you to attend the October 17-19, 2013 conference, New Forces Shaping the Future of International Business Education, at the University of Colorado Denver.  This is a joint initiative of the Western Regional CIBER Consortium and the Rocky Mountain CIBER Network.

The conference will provide a valuable opportunity to learn more about international business and best teaching practices from recognized IB experts, and network with faculty from two and four year institutions who are interested in international business.  The program fee is $125; the hotel cost is $149/night at the SpringHill Suites Marriott.

The conference themes are

*         Disruptive technologies - new platforms and methods of teaching international business

*         New topics in international business education

*         Innovative pedagogy in international business education

*         Transformational global changes impacting international business

Breakout sessions will be developed based on participant survey responses, i.e., for community college faculty, for Tribal Colleges and Universities faculty, for faculty just beginning to teach international business, and for faculty conducting extensive research in IB.

This conference is hosted by the University of Colorado Denver CIBER.  It is co-sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education and CIBERs at Brigham Young University, Michigan State University, San Diego State University, University of California Los Angeles, University of Hawaii Manoa, University of Southern California, University of Texas Austin, University of Washington, and University of Wisconsin Madison.
