Hello everyone. I am a JD student in MSU college of law. I wanna rent one room of my three bedrooms house. There are three bedrooms and two living rooms in the house. It was newly purchased this summer. I only want to rent out one room to one person and the other one would be kept as guest room. The house has 2.5 bath, kitchen, fire place, in-door grill, o.2 acres of yard. The first floor of the house has around 2000 square feet and the basement is around 1200 square feet. There are office and pingpong table in the basement. New hardwood floor will be installed. The house came with all the furniture from the last owner. The whole decoration of the house is totally different from an rented apartment. And that would make you feel at home. The house have everything in it, you can move in with only your self belongings. If there is any furniture you like in the house, you can move it to your room for your own use. Such as desks and sofas. You will have your own bathroom, you can also have the office in the basement to use as your office if you wish. The most important thing is that the house is just cross the street of MSU. It is 1 mile away from law school, and 1.2 miles away from international building. You could definitely walk to school everyday and not worrying about parking or taking a bus. of course, bus is available just outside the house on the main street. The house is located in a very quite community. There are only 10 houses in that community, it is safe and quite. We have five parking space in the house. 2 in doors and three out doors. Parking is not a problem if you have a lot of friends come to visit. My husband and I have a very busy schedule of studying. We prefer a quite, polite and clean student. I wish you can keep you room clean and could help me with cleaning the common area sometimes. Friends are welcomed on weekends. I have both a cat and a dog. They are clean and quite as well. We prefer someone loves pets. Because this house was bought for self-use purpose, so I would only rent out one room. To avoid future dispute, a leasing agreement would be signed before move in, the detailed terms could be negotiated at a further time. The price for this room is $500 + utilities. Because it was newly purchased, I cannot give a specific number for utilities. But based on what the old owner said, it would not be more than $100 each month for you. Including winter. Also, there is treadmill and other excise equipment be available in the house, you are welcomed to use any of those facilities. Because I am not in U.S. right now. Please write me back through email if are interested. I will arrange my friend to show you the house if you wish to. The earliest move in date is 8/26, 2013. You can also move in as early as 8/15 if you do not care we change the carpet into hardwood floor in the living room. The room which you will move in is already in hardwood. So the work would not actually influence your living. May just be a little noisy for few days.
