at the Beedie School of Business in the following areas:
1. Innovation
at the “Base of the Pyramid”: This research program aims to develop a
theory of product, service and business model innovation that allows
organizations to meet the needs of the “base-of-the-pyramid” segments
profitably, sustainably, and in socially responsible ways. The research is

developing countries in Asia, Africa or Latin America, would be an asset to the
research program.
2. Sustainability and Social Responsibility in

solutions for sustainable global supply chains. The research employs both
analytical modeling and empirical methods. Candidates should have a record of
publications and/or demonstrated interest in pursuing substantive research on
related topics. Candidates must have a PhD in a related discipline, and possess
strong modeling, analysis and computational skills with demonstrated
capabilities in at least one of the following: economic and game theoretic
