Hi Folks, Just a reminder that Easygrow Mushrooms will be conducting a workshop this Saturday on how to grow gourmet mushrooms on logs around the house (or on the farm). There are a few slots left, but we anticipate filling up by the end of the week. The workshop will be presented by mycologist Chris Wright, owner of Easygrow Mushrooms, who will provide hands-on instruction on how to inoculate and cultivate mushrooms on logs. The workshop will be held at Colasanti's market, 468 S. Milford Road Highland, MI 48357. This workshop is a must for anyone contemplating to grow mushrooms in their garden at home, or integrating mushrooms as a profitable crop on their farm. After receiving an in-depth presentation and detailed instructions on how to cultivate log-grown mushrooms, each participant will then inoculate their own log with the mushroom of their choice. Participants will bring their logs home with them at the completion of the workshop. The workshop will last from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. All materials and complete instruction (with handouts) on how to produce gourmet mushrooms on logs are included in the price of tuition ($60 per participant).
