Dear Fellow Business Professors:

Nottingham University Business School China has a job open for an Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour and/or International Business starting in the Fall of 2013.   We are especially interested in people who can teach leadership or doing business in China although we are open to considering people with other specializations. In operation for only seven years, NUBS China currently has approximately 2,300 students of which about 250 are enrolled in masters programs and a small Ph.D. program.  It has an international faculty of 70, coming from over 20 countries, permanently based in Ningbo and plans to grow to about 90 over the coming few years.  It is EQUIS accredited and is part of a university that is highly rated and is seeking to improve further its ranking among the world's top research and teaching universities.  NUBS China has ambitious plans under the leadership of Dean Carl Fey to expand including increasing its focus on high quality research which makes an impact, making sure there are good links between research and teaching, focusing on interactive teaching methods, increasing interaction with business, and developing executive education. NUBS China is focused around its three Is: Innovative, international, and interactive.  NUBS China, which carries out instruction in English, is also significantly increasing its research focus and provides an excellent environment and conditions for scholars interested in pursuing an active research agenda under its outstanding researcher support system and other initiatives.  Nottingham University Business School China is in Ningbo, China about a three-hour drive from Shanghai (there is also a good airport in Ningbo as it is a city of about six million people).  The school is a subsidiary of Nottingham University in the UK and is rapidly expanding.
