Dear Sir/Madam,

We are pleased to announce the 3rd biennial conference of the Indian Academy of Management<http://www.indianaom.com/> (the India regional affiliate of the Academy of Management). The conference theme is titled ‘Rethinking Management Theory and Practice in the Present Indian Economic Context,’ chosen in light of the idiosyncratic dynamics of Indian economy and the associated opportunities and challenges for the organisations. The conference will be held at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad<http://www.iimahd.ernet.in/>, and is organised by IIMA, Delhi School of Business, New Delhi<http://www.dsb.edu.in/>, and K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai<http://www.somaiya.edu/vidyavihar/simsr>.

We invite research papers for each of the tracks, and submissions pertinent to the overall conference theme will be preferred over generic ones.

For each of the tracks, we welcome submissions of the nature of competitive papers, working papers, proposals for symposium, and proposals for professional development workshop. A key highlight of the conference is the list of prolific researchers who have agreed to be the keynote speakers. The list of speakers includes Dean Tjosvold, Mats Alvesson, Noshir Contractor, Rohit Varman, and Ronald Fry.
