Leadership
in Russia and Global Context conference, 22-23 October 2013, Moscow, Russia,
call for papers, monthly review tranches until 1 August 2013. Paper

The conference is sponsored by the National
Research UniversityHigher School of
Economics (HSE) and the Centre for Cross Cultural Comparisons, and
will be co-located with the HSE 5th Annual Conference on Management.

We will accept papers from now until 1 August, with reviews and notifications targeted
to be completed in four weeks. Accepted papers will be published on CD with an
ISSN. Content relating to leadership in Russia is desirable, but not required,
we suggest if your study targets other countries that you discuss comparisons
with research in Russia in your literature review and discussion and
conclusions.

We are privileged to have four world renowned leadership scholars as
plenary speakers and plenary panellists for the first Leadership in Russia and
Global Context conference:

Peter Dorfman of New Mexico State University, Management Department,
College of Business Administration, is Professor and Head of the Department of
Management, New Mexico State University, is the current GLOBE President and
CEO.

Paul Hanges is Professor, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Associate
Chair & Director of Graduate Studies of the Department of Psychology at the
University of Maryland. Prof. Hanges is a founding member of the GLOBE
Foundation and has been a principal investigator of the GLOBE project since its
conception, serving as vice president 2000-2010.

Mansour Javidan, Director, Najafi Global Mindset Institute and Garvin
Distinguished Professor at Thunderbird School of Global Management, is the Past
President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the world renowned research
project on executive performance and leadership GLOBE project, and is a primary
editor and writer of the GLOBE books. He is the co-principal investigator of
the GLOBE Phase 3 research program. 

Philip M. Podsakoff is the John F. Mee Chair of Management, atIndiana University, Bloomington. Professor
Podsakoff is an expert in the fields of leadership and behavioural processes in
organizations. He is internationally known for his research on transactional
and transformational leadership processes in organizations, power and social
influence processes, the effects of various "substitutes" for
leadership, and the antecedents and consequences of employee
"citizenship" behaviours.
