"I call for the abolishment of the ... Pause | Break keys!" Eh, not so fast there, Bucko... There are a few of us dinosaurs still around who actually do occasional work at the Windows CLI (and yes, Virginia, there is a Windows 'shell' CLI environment), where the Break key is recognized by most command line utilities and will get you out of a hung/looping program. And the pause key still works in that environment as well. And, yes, I do still use the Caps Lock key occasionally. Just because I DON'T TYPE IN ALL UPPER CASE doesn't mean that I don't occasionally use, and find handy, the Caps Lock key (refer to earlier poster's comment re: coding SQL statements). You are welcome to ditch the scroll lock key, though - I never have found any particular use for that one. I do realize that we're gradually headed into a Brave New World (tm) where we'll never touch a key again, but please - let's not get carried away until my dead, cold fingers are pried off the keyboard. No one uses them and you could hit them accidentally and be stuck scrolling. Or breaking. Also, my cat keeps sitting on the F11 key, putting my browser into full-screen scroll mode, so I don't like that one, either.
