Mid-Career Consortium

July 3, 2013

Chair: John Mezias, University of Miami

Application Deadline: March 15, 2013

For the first time, the Academy of International Business is organizing a Mid-Career Consortium which will be held on Wednesday July 3, 2013 from 2:30-4:30 pm. This Consortium features a panel of distinguished faculty and will provide a unique opportunity to network and discuss professional challenges, problems, and opportunities facing faculty advancing into their "Associate and early Full Professor years." The most suitable participants for this Consortium are "mid-career" international business faculty (those with at least five years of academic experience up to recent full professors). Panelists will share views on topics ranging from editorial roles, sabbaticals, leadership in professional organizations, changing institutions, executive education, conference organization, administrative roles, and working with doctoral students. Informal presentations will be followed by Q&A and round table discussions.
