This year’s conference will focus on how both Eastern and Western Hemispheric countries seek to promote sustainable development, and the opportunities and challenges they face in doing so. The conference is sponsored by Texas A&M International University, the A.R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business, and the Center for the Study of Western Hemispheric Trade, in partnership with Universidad Regiomontana’s Escuela de Negocios and Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas’s Facultad de Comercio, Administración y Ciencias Sociales (Mexico); University of International Business and Economics and Wuhan University (China); and with support from Americas Society-Council of the Americas (Washington, D.C.). Submissions imply that at least one author will register for the conference and be present at the time designated in the conference program. Research-in-progress will be accepted. · Please send a MS Word file of either the complete paper or abstract (200 words maximum) by February 28, 2013 for inclusion in the conference. Complete papers will be considered for inclusion in the electronic proceedings.
