Session Description:
This seminar session will offer perspectives on the importance of case method teaching in international business education in the U.S., as well as in emerging and transitioning economies. Helpful insights will be provided regarding case method teaching and how best to incorporate it into the classroom. The seminar will also include guidance on case study development, highlighting key steps in the writing process, as well as how to avoid potential pitfalls. Good structure for a teaching case will be reviewed and there will be ample time to pose questions to the presenter.

Attendees will leave this session with at least one, new and actionable insight to aid them in their own unique classroom environments!

Robert E. Kennedy
>Executive Director, William Davidson Institute at the University of Michigan
>Tom Lantos Professor of Business Administration, Ross School of Business, University of Michigan
Kennedy received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University, M.S.M. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Ph.D. in Business Economics from Harvard University. He is a well-known scholar, speaker, and educator. His research focuses on the opportunities and challenges facing businesses in developing countries and has been widely published in leading economics and strategy journals.
