Call for Papers – 2nd KTO Paper Development Workshop

SKEMA Business School – June 24-27 2012

 

 

 

Dear all, we are pleased to announce the organization of the 2nd KTO paper development for doctoral students and young researchers, which will be held at SKEMA Business School in Sophia Antipolis (French Riviera), June 24-27, 2012. The objective of the workshop is to enhance the research skills and the publication likelihood of promising scholars in the fields of strategy, international business, organization or entrepreneurship in relation with innovation and knowledge.

To allow for interactive discussions and feedback between participants in a friendly environment, the number of participants will be limited to 20-25. Participants will attend seminars conducted by Gautam Ahuja (University of Michigan), Stefano Brusoni (ETHZurich), Gino Cattani (New York University), Lars Frederiksen (Aarhus University) and Giovani Valentini (Bocconi University). In small group sessions managed by an experienced faculty, each paper will be allocated a senior scholar as a discussant and authors will receive feedback from peers and other participants. Thus, participants will be required to read and review the papers from other participants of the session. The coordinator of the workshop is Ludovic Dibiaggio (SKEMA Business School). Participating faculty include, Olivier Bertrand (SKEMA Business School), Stefano Brusoni (ETH-Zurich), Gino Cattani (New York University), Lars Frederiksen (Aarhus University), Maryam Nasiriyar (ESC Rennes), and Giovanni Valentini (Bocconi University).

The workshop will start on Monday June 24 at 5pm and will end on Thursday 27 June. The workshop will be held in SKEMA Business School at the campus of Sophia Antipolis (south of France). The workshop is open to all interested scholars though preference will be given to advanced PhD students, post doctorates and young researchers.

 

Selection of papers will be done through submission of extended abstracts (or full papers) and a CV no later than March 31 2013 by email to [log in to unmask].

Confirmation of acceptance: April 30, 2013

Full paper deadline: May 31s, 2013
