Call for Papers The 9th (2013) APMAA Conference Theme: Challenges for Management Accounting: Issues in Theory and Practices November 1st - 4th, 2013 Venue: Nagoya University, Japan Asia-Pacific Management Accounting Association (APMAA) invites papers for its 9th (2013) conference. The 9th APMAA Conference (between 1st -4th Nov. 2013) is co-organized by the Asia-Pacific Management Accounting Association (APMAA), APMAA Japan and Nagoya University. A PhD Colloquium (on 1st Nov. 2013) will be held in conjunction with the APMAA 2013 Conference. The general theme for this conference is “Challenges for Management Accounting: Issues in Theory and Practices”. However, manuscripts may encompass any topical area of management accounting and they can be theoretical, teaching-based or practice-oriented. Papers are welcomed in all of the following areas. * Management Accounting and Control * Management Accounting for Multinational Enterprises * Management Accounting for State-owned Companies and Non-profit Organizations * Management Accounting in Developing Countries * Intellectual Capital and Knowledge Management * Risk Management * Corporate Governance * Social and Environmental Accounting * Financial Analysis * Internal control and Accountability: Professional and Business Ethics * Accounting History * Accounting and Culture * Accounting Education * Methodological and Theoretical Issues .It It should be noted ・ Papers published elsewhere are not eligible for submission. Preference will be given to recent papers that have not previously been presented at major conferences. ・ Papers will be double-blind reviewed. Author(s) of accepted papers must register for the conference, and at least one of the main authors is expected to register for the conference by 1 October 2013, and presents the work at the corresponding session. PAPER SUBMISSION The deadline for full paper submissions is July 15, 2013. MANUSCRIPT FORMATTING All manuscripts should be in Times New Roman, font size 12, double-spaced with an abstract of no more than 300 words. Include up to 5 keywords. Manuscripts should be as concise as the subject and research method permit, generally not to exceed 7,000 words, All papers will be double-blind reviewed. To promote anonymous review, authors should not identify themselves directly or indirectly in their paper. Single authors should not use the editorial “we.” Referencing should follow the APA style. The cover page should contain the title of the paper (all bold capitals), the author’s name (first name, initial(s), and family name), title and affiliation, fax and phone numbers and email address. Please indicate clearly the corresponding author.
